Cincinnati Sweeps Cardinal Swim Teams

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Cincinnati men's and women's swimming teams swept the University of Louisville Friday evening at Crawford Pool.
The Bearcat men won the first six events en route to a 124-72 win over the Cardinals. Senior Brian Lucius led U of L with a first-place finish in the 100 Free (47.78) and a second in the 50 Free (22.21).
In the women's meet, UC won eight of the 11 events to defeat the Cardinals 123-81. Freshman Catherine Dievendorf captured the 200 Individual Medley with a time of 2:10.83 to lead Louisville.
The Cardinals return to action next Saturday (Nov. 6) against Xavier University at 6 p.m. at Crawford Pool.
