Four Named To All-MAC Field Hockey Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Four University of Louisville field hockey players - Jen Felker, Colleen Finn, Pip Sanders and Heather Slider - were named to the 1999 All-Mid-American Conference second team.
Felker, a junior back from Burlington, Ontario was the team captain on the field. She started all 21 games for the Cardinals and recorded one goal.
Finn, a senior goalkeeper St. Louis, Mo. led the MAC in saves with 191 and in minutes played with 1545:52.
Sanders, a freshman midfielder New South Wales, Australia started all 21 games for U of L and recorded two goals, including the game-winner over Southwest Missouri State and five assists.
Slider, a junior forward from Louisville, Ky. also started every game for Louisville and recorded three shots on goal and one defensive save.
U of L joined regular season co-champion Ball State with four players named to the teams. Kent State and Ohio University both had five player on the teams.
