- Jerry Smith led the Cardinals in scoring for the second straight game, scoring 16 on 6-of-8 accuracy from the field. Over the last three games, Smith has hit 17-of-23 shots from the field (.739), including 11-of-16 three-point goals (.688).
- The 41 points scored by Northeastern was the fewest for a U of L opponent since Jan. 19, 2005 when the Cardinals defeated East Carolina 92-41.
- The Cardinals held a season-high +17 margin on the boards (44-27). U of L has outrebounded its last two opponents by an average margin of +15.5.
- Juan Palacios, playing with a bruised right wrist, grabbed 10 rebounds for his third double digit rebounding effort of the season. Palacios passed the 550 mark in career rebounds.
