Spirit Squads Rake in Wins at NCA/NDA Camp

Ladybirds, All-Girl and Co-Ed all garner awards
LOUISVILLE, Ky.- The University of Louisville Spirit Squads had a successful weekend at NCA/NDA Varsity camps featuring 14 schools for cheer and nine schools for dance hosted on the UofL campus.
The Louisville All-Girl team fresh off its seventh consecutive national title and its 17th overall, won Most Collegiate Award, placed first in Rally Routine, and was named the NCA Collegiate Crowd Segment finals champion. Led by 25 All-Americans, the All-Girl team received a gold bid to NCA Nationals and earned the highest team score at camp. Sarah Alejandro, Kora Ladino, Allyson Jacobs, and Ava Phelps were recognized as the Top Guns in Stunts.
Featuring 10 All-Americans, the Co-Ed team also received a gold bid to NCA Nationals and had two members, Hailey Cain and Ryan Claunch, recognized among the Top Gun in Stunts.
The Ladybirds rounded out the successful weekend by placing first in team dance and being named the Division 1A winner and Overall Game Day winner. The team had 5 All-Americans named and received a bid to NDA Nationals. Maria Litvin was recognized as a Top Gun in Turns.
