Cardinals Finish Day 1 of Moon Golf Invitational

MELBOURNE, Fla. – The University of Louisville women's golf team finished round one of the Moon Golf Invitational shooting 7-over (295). The Cardinals sit in 16th overall, four shots behind North Carolina.
LSU is first on the team leaderboard, shooting 12-under (276). UCF's Tunrada Piddon leads all individuals with a score of 7-under (65).
In her first tournament back this season, Hana Ryskova finished the day at even par. On the front nine, Ryskova had two birdies but finished even after a double bogey on hole nine. She finished the day off steady with one birdie and one bogey to put her at an even 72.
Sophomore Carmen Griffiths finished the day 1-over (73) while Mairead Martin and Ryann Honea each carded 3-over (75). Gabbi Bentancourt shot 4-over (76) in round one.
The Cardinals had five players participate as individuals with Lauren Thibodeau carding 2-over (74). Molly Lyne shot 4-over (76), Carly Haines shot 5-over (77), Rylee Suttor shot 6-over (78) and Agustina Gomez Cisterna shot 7-over (79).
The Cards will return for the second round of the Moon Golf Invitational tomorrow with a tournament start time of 8:00 a.m. ET. Louisville will tee off starting at 9:20 a.m. ET with the individuals teeing off at 8:30 a.m. ET.
