Women’s Basketball has 5 Named to All-ACC Academic Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Five University of Louisville women's basketball student-athletes were named to the 2026 All-ACC Academic Team, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.
The players that were represented on the team are Reagan Bender (sport administration), Elif Istanbulluoglu (communication), Mackenly Randolph (communication), Tajianna Roberts (business) and Anaya Hardy (mechanical engineering).
This past fall semester, the Cards registered a 3.33 team GPA. They had 11 student-athletes who earned AD Honor Roll status, which is a 3.0 GPA or higher in the semester. 11 student-athletes also earned Red and Black scholar status, which is a 3.25 GPA or higher in the semester. Two student-athletes had a perfect 4.0 GPA in the fall semester.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous two semesters and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
