2025-26: At the NCAA Championships, Larsen swam the third leg of the 200-yard medley relay that tied for silver with a 25.44 split, helping the team earn First Team All-American honors with a 1:32.35. Larsen also led off the 400-yard freestyle relay with a split of 47.36, helping the team claim First Team All-American honors in seventh with a 3:08.14. Individually, Larsen secured Honorable Mention All-American honors in the 100-yard freestyle in 10th place with a 47.19. She also placed 20th in the 50-yard freestyle (21.77) and 26th in the 100-yard butterfly (51.77). At the ACC Championships, Larsen swam the third leg of the gold medal 200-yard medley relay team with a 22.41 split, helping the team take home All-ACC honors with a 1:32.26. She also led off the silver medal 400-yard freestyle relay with a 46.82 split, helping the team earn All-ACC honors with a 3:08.14. To wrap up relay action, Larsen led off the bronze medal 200-yard freestyle relay with a 21.75 split, helping the team secure All-ACC honors with a 1:25.34. Individually, Larsen placed sixth in the 50-yard freestyle with a 21.62. She also won the 100-yard freestyle B-final with a 47.22. to close competition, she placed fifth in the 100-yard butterfly B-final with a 51.77. She was also named to the All-ACC Academic Team. During the Dual Meet Season: Larsen against Xavier competed in the 200-yard medley relay, with her team finishing first and earning a split of 27.70. She then competed in the 50-yard freestyle, finishing first with a time of 22.61. Afterwards she swam in the 100-yard butterfly, finishing first with a time of 54.47. She then swam in the 400-yard freestyle relay, finishing with the fastest time in exhibition with a split of 49.63. At the SMU Classic in Dallas, she swam in the 400-yard medley relay, placing first with a 59.94 split. She transitioned into the 50-yard freestyle, finishing first in the consolation heat with the second fastest time in the field with a 22.08. Afterwards, she swam in the 100-yard butterfly championship heat, where she finished second with a time of 52.06. She moved onto the 200-yard medley relay, garnering a first-place finish with a 26.96 split. She then competed in the 200-yard freestyle relay, where her team placed first, and she swam a split of 21.85. In the consolation heat of the 100-yard freestyle, she finished first with the second fastest time in the field with a 47.95 finish. At their meet against Notre Dame, she helped her team to a first-place finish with a time of 1:34.30 in the 200-yard medley relay. Also, against Notre Dame she placed second in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:45.32. To wrap up the Notre Dame meet, she swam in the 400-yard freestyle relay where she helped her team place first with an overall time of 3:11.14. At the Ohio State Invite, she placed third in the 100-yard butterfly (51.49), 100-yard freestyle (47.47), and 50-yard freestyle (21.78). She also helped the 200-yard medley relay (26.51 split, 1:33.69 overall) and 200-yard freestyle relay (21.71 split, 1:25.36 overall) take first. At their meet against Missouri, she helped her team to a first-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:34.69, where she swam a split of 26.34. She would then compete in the 50-yard freestyle, where she would finish second with a time of 21.98. She also swam in the 100-yard butterfly, where she finished first with a time of 51.62. She then competed in the 400-yard freestyle relay, where she helped her team finish first with an overall time of 3:12.36 and a split of 47.88. At the Texas Showdown, she took second in the 100-yard IM (53.70), 50-yard butterfly (23.52), and 100-yard butterfly (51.38). She also helped the 400-yard freestyle relay (47.83 split, 3:10.21 overall), 200-yard medley relay (22.86 split, 1:33.49 overall), and 200-yard freestyle relay (21.89 split, 1:26.36 overall) take first. During the University of Cincinnati meet, Larsen placed first in the 200-yard medley relay with a 20.34 split. She also finished first in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 52.92. Finally, she swam exhibition in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a 22.12 split.
2024-25: Caroline made an immediate impact as a freshman for the Cardinals. She earned HM All-American honors in the 50 free when she finished 13th with a time of 21.78. She was 19th in the 100 free (48.02) and 42nd in the 100 breast (1:00.29). She was on three of the Cards’ relay All-American squads with a third-place finish (1:33.41) with her breaststroke split of 26.28 in the 200 medley relay. The Cards were second in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:25.04 with Caroline adding in her leadoff split of 21.80. She helped the 400 free relay squad to a third-place finish with the time of 3:08.71 and her split of 47.43. At the ACC Championships, she made the championship final in the 50 free with a time of 21.63. She was ninth in the 100 breast (59.63) and 14th in the 100 free. She was on the bronze medal 200 medley relay team, swimming the breast leg split in 26.75 as the cards went 1:34.55. She won silver in the 400 free relay, swimming the third leg in 47.58 as the Cards shaved two seconds off their entry time with a 3:08.71 in the finals. She was also on the silver medal 200 free relay with a leadoff split of 21.71 as the Cards went 1:25.52. During the dual meet season, She had a second place in the 100 breast (1:00.57) versus Cincinnati and was fourth in both the 50 free (22.33) and the 100 fly (53.19) versus Indiana. Against rival Kentucky, she was second in the 100 free (48.75) and third in the 50 free (22.32). She was third in the 100 breast at Missouri (1:00.88) and fourth in the 100 fly (52.82). At the TYR Pro Series at Ft. Lauderdale, her best finish was a seventh place in the 50 M breast.
Prep: Larsen joins the Cardinals from Eden Prairie, Minnesota. She did her club swimming for the FoxJets Swim Team under head coach and father, Lloyd Larsen. She was the champion of the 100m Fly at the 2024 Speedo Summer Championships. Larsen competed in the 2023 Speedo Winter West Championships where she earned gold in the 50 Y Free, as well as podium finishes in the 100 Y Breast and 100 Y Fly. She also won gold in both the 100m Fly and 50m Fly, as well as silver in 100m Free at the 2024 NCSA Spring Championships. Her club swimming career resulted in Minnesota state records in multiple events (50yd Free, 50yd Breast, 100m Free, and 50m Fly).
