Nina Wilson began her career with Louisville as a seasonal ATC with UofL Women's Rowing from August 2024-May 2025 before starting as an assistant athletic trainer with Swimming and Diving in June of 2025.

Wilson works across multiple sports to ensure the best care for student-athletes. She is actively involved in educating athletes and coaches on injury prevention and customizing individual programs for athletes.

Wilson joined UofL after gaining unique experience in collegiate and professional settings. She served as a graduate athletic training ttudent at Texas Christian University, working in football, women’s soccer, and indoor volleyball. Wilson also completed a pre-season internship with the Houston Texans and spent two summers with the Cape Cod Baseball League as the Assistant Athletic Trainer.

Wilson began her career as a student at Louisiana State University and assisted with Swim & Dive and Women’s Soccer, while developing a strong understanding of manual therapy, therapeutic modalities, and planning rehabilitation plans for athletes.

A native of Louisiana, Wilson earned her bachelor’s degree in Pre-Kinesiology from LSU and her Master of Science in Athletic Training from TCU. She is a certified and licensed athletic trainer and has additional credentials, including a current BLS/First Aid certification and an active NPI.
