2025-26: Bezanson qualified for the NCAA Championships as an alternate. At the ACC Championships, Bezanson competed in the 400-yard IM (4:20.15), 500-yar freestyle (4:52.10), and 200-yard backstroke (1:59.40). During the Dual Meet Season: Against Xavier, Bezanson competed in the 1000-yard freestyle, finishing second with a time of 10:20.71. She then swam in the 500-yard freestyle, finishing first with a time of 4:57.45. Afterwards, she competed in the 200-yard IM, finishing with the second fastest time in exhibition. In the meet against Notre Dame, she finished third in the 200-yard freestyle. Then she competed in the 400-yard IM, placing third. She then swam in the 400-yard freestyle relay, helping her team to a third-place finish. At the Ohio State Invite, she placed second in the 400-yard IM B-final with a time of 4:14.16. She also anchored the 800-yard freestyle relay team with a 1:45.62 split to take second with a time of 7:00.76.
Prep: Maya Bezanson, who has competed for Etobicoke Swimming, will swim free/IM events for the Cardinals and is a Speedo Canadian Champion. She has represented Team Canada at including the FINA World Cup in Toronto back in 2022, placing 9th in the 400 free in 4:11.89, and also swam at Junior Pan Pacs that same year, taking 14th in the 400 free (4:17.85). She swam at the Mel Zajac Jr. Invitational, winning the 400 free (4:19.14) and taking 3rd in the 400 IM (4:55.24), the latter of which was a personal best at the time.At the 2023 Speedo Canadian Championships (LCM), Bezanson hit a time of 4:16.84 to become the 400 free champion just off her personal best of 4:15.71, which she had set at the Bell Candian Trials a year prior in 2022. Bezanson also swam the 200 IM (2:17.83) and 400 IM (4:53.50), finishing 2nd in both events and establishing a new PB in the latter. Maya swam in the Ontario Junior International, a short course meters meet. There, Benzanson took 2nd in the 400 IM with a time of 4:40.27 to establish a new best and went on to hit another lifetime best in the 200 IM, swimming a 2:12.37 for fifth. She went 1:59.52 in the 200 free for 7th and a 4:09.91 in the 400 free for fourth. In 2025, at the Canadian Swim Trials, she was a finalist in the 400M IM (4:52.20). At the 2025 Junior World Aquatics Championships, she was 20th in the 400 M IM. In the Ontario Championships in 2025, she won the 200M Free (2:02.36) and the 200M IM (2:19.47). At the Canadian Swim Trials in Victoria, BC in June of 2025, she was third in the the 400M Free (4:17.49) and the 200L IM (2:18.05).
