2025-26: During the Dual Meet Season: In the meet against Xavier, she competed in the 200-yard medley relay, with her team finishing first and earning a split of 24.51. She then competed in the 50-yard freestyle, finishing sixth in exhibition with a time of 24.62. Afterwards she swam in the 100-yard butterfly, finishing first in exhibition with a time of 56.62. At the meet against Notre Dame, she swam in the 200-yard medley relay, helping her team to a time of 1:38.25 and a second-place finish. Then she competed in the 50-yard freestyle, placing sixth with a time of 23.85. Also, against Notre Dame she competed in the 400-yard freestyle relay where she helped her team to the fourth best time of 3:22.58. At the Ohio State Invite, she took third in the 200-yard butterfly B-final with a time of 2:01.40. In the meet against Missouri, she swam in the 200-yard medley relay, where she helped her team to a first-place finish in exhibition, with an overall time of 1:39.89 and a split of 24.26. She would later swim in the 100-yard butterfly, where she finished with the fastest time in exhibition with a time of 54.84. During the meet against the University of Cincinnati, Rodriguez finished fourth in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:02.56. She also swam exhibition in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 55.15. Finally, she swam an exhibition in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a split of 23.69.

Prep: Sophia comes to the Ville from Lexington, where she swam for Highbridge Aquatics for Coach Chris Fugmann. At the Kentucky Long Course Championship in 2025, she won the 100M butterfly (1:01.07), was second in the 50 fly (27.81) and third in the 100M free (58.21). At the Kentucky LSC Championships in March of 2025, she won the 100 fly (53.82) and the 100 free (52.17) and touched second in the 200 free (1:51.50). At the Kentucky Senior State Championships in 2024, she won the 100M fly (1:02.34) and a pair of second places in the 100M free (59.26) and the 50M free (27.12).
