Sondra Parys had 21 kills and two blocks to lead the University of Toledo to a 3-2 win over the University of Louisville in volleyball in the second day of the Cardinal Classic at Cardinal Arena Saturday morning. U of L will play Liberty at 7 p.m. for the nightcap.
Toledo improves to 8-0 and Louisville is now 5-3 with the 28-26, 25-27, 25-18, 18-25, 15-8 loss. U of L hit .277 and was led by Lola Arslanbekova's 16 kills and two blocks. Toledo hit .230 and got 18 kills from Amber DeWeerdt.
