LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The University of Louisville men's basketball program completes exhibition play against Kentucky Wesleyan at 7 p.m. ET Monday at the KFC Yum! Center. The game will stream on ACC Network Extra.

The Cardinals opened the preseason on Oct. 18 with a 91-50 victory over Simmons College, shooting 54% from the field, 42% from 3-point range and nearly 80% from the free-throw line.

Kentucky Wesleyan went 15-14 last season and began its preseason this year with an 85-75 defeat at Saint Louis on Tuesday. The teams' last meeting in exhibition play was a 101-64 UofL win in 2017, but the programs have also played 69 times in regular-season action. The Cardinals hold a 51-18 all-time edge in that series.

Five Cardinals scored in double-figures to boost the University of Louisville men's basketball team to a 101-64 win over the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers in the first of two exhibition games. In a total team win, the Cardinals finished the game with 22 assists on 41 baskets made.

Anas Mahmoud led the Cardinals in scoring with 20 points. The senior also logged seven blocks, five rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Ray Spalding also had a solid night for the Cards, tallying 15 points, seven rebounds, four assists, three steals, and a block. Also scoring in double-figures were Dwayne Sutton with 13 points, Deng Adel with 12 points, and Quentin Snider with 10 points. Snider also led the team with five assists and collected five rebounds

The Panthers kept the game close in the opening minutes, but a three-pointer from Snider just over three minutes in kick-started the Louisville offense. From that moment on, the Cardinals controlled the pace of the game. Over the next eight minutes, Louisville went on a 22-6 run, forcing the Panthers into a timeout after back-to-back three-pointers from Malik Williams and Darius Perry increased their lead to 35-14.
