Cardinals Travel to Play at Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic

ATHENS, Ga. – The University of Louisville women's golf team continues their spring season with a trip to the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic this weekend. The tournament, hosted by the University of Georgia, will take place from March 24-26.

Hana Ryskova will start for the Cards, teeing off at 8:30 a.m. Louisville is paired with Georgia and Virginia in round one of action.

Playing some of her best golf this season, senior Rylee Suttor paced the Cards with a ninth place individual finish in the Clover Cup. Suttor's top-10 finish marks a career-best at Louisville. She carded scores of 72-71-70 (3-under-213), the first time this season that she has carded scores of even-par or below in all three rounds of a tournament.

The field in the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic consists of 15 total teams, five of which are ranked in the Golfstat top-25.

Following this weekend's competition, the Cards will finish off their regular season at the Wolfpack Match Play in Raleigh, N.C. on April 3-4.
