MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The University of Louisville men's tennis team concluded its weekend in Murfreesboro, Tenn., where they competed in the Middle Tennessee Invitational.
The Cardinals were represented by a pair of freshmen, Maksim Hristov and Artem Dmytrenko. The freshmen played three mini duals over the weekend and collected a total of five victories, one in doubles and four in singles.
The duo opened the weekend with a sweep over Belmont's Judah McEachern-Brown and Estaban Ortiz. They wrapped up the weekend Sunday, when they each collected an additional singles victory.
The Cardinals are set to host the Louisville Classic this weekend, their second of two home tournaments this fall. The tournament will be played at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center, with play beginning on Oct. 23 and concluding on Oct. 25.
