CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The University of Louisville's Haley Richards and Olivia Scroggie were named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Lacrosse Third Team, the league office announced Tuesday evening.
Richards (Moraga, Calif.) currently leads Division I in saves with 179; she also paces the country with 11.93 saves per game, while her .499 save percentage stands atop ACC goalies and ranks seventh nationally. In her first year as a starter, she posted six double-digit save efforts against ACC foes, most notably posting a program-record 19 saves against Florida State.
Scroggie, a draw control specialist, finished her sophomore campaign with 105 on the year. She became only the fourth Cardinal to ever reach 100 draw controls in a single season. Her 7.0 draw controls per game were fifth best in the ACC. The Boca Raton, Fla. native's best performance of the season came against the top-ranked and defending national champion North Carolina; she finished that game with a career-high 13 draw controls.
ACC accolades are voted on by the league's 13 head coaches. Richards and Scroggie become the first UofL players to earn all-conference honors since 2024 when Nicole Perroni (First Team) and Kokoro Nakazawa (Second Team) were tabbed All-ACC.
