Men's Soccer Releases 2026 Schedule

This season will feature 11 home matches and six away matches with the regular season-opener set for August 20.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville men's soccer team and head coach John Michael Hayden have announced the Cardinals' 2026 schedule. Louisville will play 17 regular season matches, including 11 contests at Dr. Mark & Cindy Lynn Stadium, following a pair of preseason exhibition matches in August.
The Cardinals will tune up for the regular season with exhibition matches against Cumberland on Aug. 8 and SIUE on Aug. 15 before opening the regular season at home against IU Indy on Aug. 20. Louisville closes the month with matches against Kentucky, Lipscomb and Indiana. The Battle of the Bluegrass is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 24 in Lexington, Ky.
The nonconference schedule features home contests against Wright State, Belmont, DePaul and Spalding, while the Cardinals will travel to Evansville and Kentucky.
ACC play begins on Sept. 13 when Louisville hosts California. The Cardinals will also welcome Boston College, NC State and Notre Dame to Lynn Stadium during conference play. Road ACC matches include trips to Pitt, Syracuse, Clemson and SMU.
