2016-17: Named to ACC Academic Honor Roll and All-ACC Academic Rowing Team … Received 2017 Scholar Award from Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association for second time in collegiate career … Rowed exclusively in the Cardinals’ varsity eight boat … V8+ crew finished fifth at the ACC Championship, helped scored Louisville a team victory at a double dual against Indiana and Kansas and took first place at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational

2015-16: Named to ACC Academic Honor Roll and was a CRCA Scholar Athlete… Rowed most of the season in Louisville’s second varsity eight boat, which earned a second-place finish at the ACC Championship… Was also in the 2V8+ for a win at the Clemson Invitational, a victory at the ACC/Big Ten Double Dual and in races at Michigan and at the Oregon State Classic… Opened the spring in the varsity four boat for a winning performance at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational.

2014-15: Split most of the race time in the varsity eight and second varsity eight boats… Was in the varsity eight crew for a fifth-place finish at the ACC Championship and at the Clemson Invitational… Rowed in the second varsity eight boat at Michigan, at the ACC/Big Ten Challenge and at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational… Also competed in the varsity four boat in a win at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational.

Prior to UofL: Rowed for Bagsvaerd Roklub… Set five indoor world records as a junior lightweight on 500m, 1000m, 5000m, 6000m and 30min... Participated in U19 World Rowing Championships in 2012 (4-) and 2013 (4x), U18 Baltic Cup 2011 (2x) and European Indoor Championships twice (Germany and Italy) as member of the Danish National Team… Danish (W4x, W8-+) and Scandinavian (JW4x) champion… European slide champion (2, 4 and 8) and holder of the Danish Indoor Record.

Personal: Born April 6, 1995… Daughter of Else Marie and John Busk… Has four siblings – Carina, David, Thomas and Peter… Majoring in economics… Post-college goals include moving to Australia and finishing an Ironman… Says the team has become her second family and the athletic and academic staff have exceeded all expectations.
