Mayer Signs With Men's Tennis Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Matt Mayer of Houston, Texas, signed his National Letter-of-Intent to continue his tennis career at the University of Louisville in the fall.
Mayer, a senior at Cypress Falls High School in Houston, advanced to the final 16 of the National Indoor Doubles Championship and was a quarterfinalist in the Texas State High School Championship.
"Matt will be an asset to the team," said Louisville head coach Rex Ecarma. "He's a 6-3 serve and volley who will be challenging for a doubles spot right away. I recruit aggressive players and he fits the mold."
