Cards Defeat Fresno State 4-2 in Men's Tennis

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The University of Louisville men's tennis team won four of five completed singles matches to defeat No. 56 Fresno State over the weekend at the Blue Gray National Invitational in Montgomery, Ala.
In singles action, Cody Conley defeated Nick Fustar 6-3, 7-6 (2) at No. 1 to lead the Cardinals. Also picking up wins for U of L were Octavian Nicodim (No. 3), Matt Mayer (No. 4) and Brent McCombe (No. 6).
Fresno State won the doubles point by winning two of three matches. Louisville's Matt Mayer and Brent McCombe topped Alex Krohn and Greg Shearer 8-6 at No. 3.
