Morin-Kougoucheff and Wynn open the ITA All-American qualifying draw with singles victories
The University of Louisville's Christopher Morin-Kougoucheff and Parker Wynn picked up singles wins on the first day of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Qualifying Draw Monday afternoon.

"Great start here at the biggest tournament as far as number of players and quality of field of the fall semester," said UofL head coach Rex Ecarma. "Chris and Parker are inspired by 2015 All-American Champion, Sebastian Stiefelmeyer, and how he also started in the qualifying."

Wynn, a sophomore from North Richland Hills, Texas opened the tournament with a 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 over North Carolina's Josh Peck.

Morin-Kougoucheff, a junior from Capbreton, France defeated South Carolina's Francisco Cerundolo 6-3, 6-4 in his first round match.

The tournament will continue Tuesday morning.
