TEAM NOTES
- The Cardinals are 106-27 (.797) under Dan McDonnell against teams from the state of Kentucky (Bellarmine, EKU, Kentucky, Morehead State, Murray State, NKU and WKU).
- Louisville has an .809 winning percentage (203-48) in regular season non-conference games since the start of 2016.
- The Cardinals have picked up the pace on the basepaths in the last two weeks, swiping at least three bases in seven of the last 10 games and 35 overall during that span.
PLAYER NOTES
- Tague Davis set the Louisville freshman home run record with 18 long balls in his first season. He has blown past that total as a sophomore with 24 through 40 games, just one shy of Louisville's single-season record of 25. Davis enters Tuesday as the national leader in home runs and RBIs. He also ranks second in slugging percentage and total bases, leading the ACC in both. Davis recorded his third and fourth multi-homer games of the season during the Cal series, including the first three-homer game of his career.
- Lucas Moore led the country with 53 stolen bases as a sophomore, the second-highest total in program history. He heads into Tuesday's game 26-for-30 this season, leading the ACC and ranking 14th nationally. Moore now has 96 career stolen bases, moving him into second on Louisville's career chart. He is currently 16 behind Boomer Whiting for the top spot.
- Griffin Crain missed the 2025 season due to injury. His debut into college baseball this spring has been strong, hitting .368 with 12 extra-base hits and 36 RBIs. Crain takes a 36-game reached base streak into Tuesday's contest, the fifth-longest streak by a Louisville player since at least 2000.
