Cardinals Travel South for Mason Rudolph Championship

This is the second tournament of the fall season for the Cards
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Louisville women's golf team is back in action this weekend as they head south for the Mason Rudolph Championship. Hosted by Vanderbilt and held at the Legends Club, the three day tournament begins on Friday, September 18. The Cardinals are one of 15 teams competing in the event.
The Cardinals lineup for the tournament will be Veronika Exposito, Amy Hodgkins, Bailey Burkett, Madison Moman and Isabella Anderson. Millie Cottrell will also be competing as an individual this weekend. All six players for the Cards also competed in the season opening tournament a few weeks ago.
At the Boilermaker Classic, the Cardinals finished sixth overall out of 16 teams. Hodgkins led the way for the Cardinals and finished tied for 13th overall. She shot a 4-over-par 220 for the tournament and shot a 71 in the second round, the lowest round of any Louisville player in the tournament.
Moman placed 30th overall with a 10-over-par 226. She shot a 75 in the first and second round, her low round of the tournament. Veronika Exposito finished tied for 40th overall at 12-over-par 228. She also shot a low round of 75 twice, in the first and final round.
Anderson competed as an individual and finished tied for 44th overall at 14-over-par 230. She shot a low round of 73 in the opening round of the tournament. Cottrell and Burkett rounded out the scoring for the Cardinals. Cottrell finished tied for 50th overall at 15-over-par 231 and Burkett was tied for 58th overall at 17-over-par 233.
Tee times for Round 1 begin at 10:53 a.m. ET for the Cardinals. Cottrell will be off first from hole no. 10 at 9:53 with the rest of the team off hole no. 1 starting at 11:10 a.m. ET. Fans can follow along with the live stats here or on our social media channels.
