PRONUNCIATION
2025-26: At the ACC Championships, Sallows competed in the 400-yard IM (4:18.66), 200-yard butterfly (2:00.60), and 200-yard IM (2:01.02). During the Dual Meet Season: Against Xavier she competed in the 200-yard butterfly where she placed third with a time of 2:05.39. She then swam in the 500-yard freestyle, finishing third with a time of 5:05.46. Afterwards, she competed in the 200-yard IM, finishing sixth fastest in exhibition with a time of 2:07.76. In their meet against Notre Dame, Sallows swam in the 400-yard IM finishing in fifth place with a time of 4:19.72. Also, against Notre Dame, she competed in the 200-yard butterfly where she placed fourth with a time of 2:00.13. At the Ohio State Invite, she took sixth in the 200-yard butterfly B-final with a time of 2:01.66. In the meet against Missouri, she competed in the 200-yard butterfly, finishing third with a time of 2:03.72. Later, she swam in the 200-yard IM where she finished second in exhibition with a time of 2:04.25. At the Texas Showdown, she took third in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:00.27.
Prep: Kaitlyn comes to the Ville from Delaware, Ohio where she swam for the Buckeye Swim Club and the New Albany Aquatics Club (NAAC) for Coach John Coffman. At the TYR Pro Championships in Irvine, Calif., she was ninth in the 200M butterfly (2:15.26) and 11th in the 200M IM (2:18.77) and 12th in the 400M IM (4:54.81). At the Kentucky Long Course Championships, she won both the 400M IM (4:54.62) and the 200M fly (2:18.29). At the NCSA Spring Championship, she was fourth in the 200 fly (1:58.24), fifth in the 200 IM (2:00.82) and seventh in the 400 IM (4:20.00). At the Speedo Winter Junior Championship in Greensboro, she was 16th in the 400 IM (4:18.54). In the 2024 USA Swimming Futures Championship in Minneapolis, she was seventh in the 200M butterfly (2:17.80) and 11th in the 400M IM (5:02.23).
Personal: She is the daughter of Ron and Laurie Sallows. Born Sept. 12, 2006. Major is exercise physiology.
