The University of Louisville women's tennis team is ranked No. 10 in the Southeast Region for the highest ranking in school history.
The Cardinals posted their third consecutive 20-win season with a 21-11 mark in 2004-05. The Southeast Region is a particularly difficult ranking to break into as there are four top 10 teams and eight of the top 25 in the country share a region with the Cardinals.
"One of the goals I had for the program when I got here three years ago was to firstly make U of L women's tennis strong at the regional level," said U of L head coach Greg Davis. "Our next goal is to become one of the top national programs."
