Louisville Set To Compete in ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville men's tennis team returns to action this weekend, as they prepare to compete in the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships. The tournament will take place at The Farm & Forge Club in College Station, Tenn. and runs from Oct. 8 through Oct. 13.
This tournament serves as the regional qualifier for the Ohio Valley. From its participants, the top two singles and the doubles champion will receive automatic bids to the NCAA Championships in November.
Matei Onofrei and Hamza El Amine have been selected for the main singles draw. Artem Dmytrenko, Maksim Hristov, Preston Taylor, Jerald Carroll, Louis Chusseau and Russell Lokko will compete in the qualifying singles draw on Oct. 8 for a chance to advance to the main draw.
The Cardinals have four pairings set to compete in the tournament's doubles main draw: Hamza El Amine/Lucas Bazin, Matei Onofrei/Maksim Hristov, Jerald Carroll/Russell Lokko and Louis Chusseau/Preston Taylor.
