This year’s event will be held at Porters Neck Country Club in Wilmington, N.C.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Louisville women's golf team is heading down to North Carolina to begin the postseason this week at the 2026 ACC Championships. The event will be held at Porters Neck Country Club in Wilmington, N.C. and it will begin on Thursday, April 16.
This is the second year of the new format to the ACC Championships thanks to the additions of SMU, Stanford and Cal. On day one, the first and second round of stroke play will be played. On day two, the third and final round of stroke play will be completed. For day three, the six highest scoring teams will advance to the match play portion where the first round and semifinals of the match play will occur. On day four, the final match play round will determine the ACC champion.
Competing for the Cardinals this week will be Veronika Exposito, Thienna Huynh, Bailey Burkett, Millie Cottrell and Emree Cameron.
Huynh, Exposito and Burkett are both competing in their second ACC Championships. Exposito was tied for the highest individual finish for a Louisville player in the 2025 ACC Championships. Cottrell participated in the first round of stroke play back in the 2024 ACC Championships but did not compete at ACC's last season. Cameron is competing at the ACC Championships for the first time during her freshman season.
The first round is set to start on Thursday at 7:30 a.m. The Cardinals first tee time will begin at 8:40 a.m. Fans can follow the live stats here or on our social media channels.
