Louisville Sends Eight Players to Compete in ITA Regional Championships
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's tennis team is set to compete in the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships on Thursday, October 8 through Tuesday, October 13. Action will take place in Mason, Ohio at the Lindner Family Tennis Center.
This tournament is the regional qualifier for the Ohio Valley, and the top two singles players and the doubles champion will earn automatic bids to the NCAA Championships.
Julie Bedard, Reagan Mulberry, Lika Peresypkina, Samaya Smith and Ahniya Vustsina will compete in the qualifying singles draw on Thursday, October 8. Berta Miret, Germany Davis and Elena Noguero have been selected for the main draw.
In the doubles draw, the pairs of Bedard and Mulberry, Miret and Noguero, and Peresypkina and Vustina will represent the Cardinals.
