LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville softball team (34-9, 10-5 ACC) will host Indiana (31-10, 10-5 Big Ten) for a Wednesday night midweek match up. First pitch is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on the ACC Network.

Camryn Lookadoo was outstanding for the Cardinals last weekend, tallying a career-high seven RBIs in the series clinching victory over Notre Dame. The junior hit back-to-back home runs and a double in the finale, pushing the Cards to a 13-5 win in South Bend.

QUICK HITS

Chelsea Mack leads the team with a .476 batting average, tallying 70 hits in 147 at-bats, 49 runs scored, 35 stolen bases, and 18 RBIs. Her 35 stolen bases rank first in the NCAA.
Madison Pickens is second on the team with a .418 average, collecting 56 hits, 43 runs, 12 doubles, three triples, eight home runs, and 52 RBIs.
Camryn Lookadoo is third on the team with a .405 average and leads the team with 16 doubles. Bri Despines is fourth with a .402 average, posting 49 hits, 12 doubles, and 45 RBIs, with a .672 slugging percentage.
Louisville leads the ACC in stolen bases (99) and triples (21) and is fourth in the conference in on-base percentage (.445). The Cards rank fourth in the ACC with a .354 batting average on the season.
Through 43 games, five Cardinals have at least 30 RBIs and six have recorded at least 40 hits.
Sophomore Anna Wise leads the Louisville pitching staff with a 2.85 ERA and eight wins in 59 innings pitched, giving up just 24 earned runs and striking out 38 so far.
Senior Alyssa Zabala leads the team with 81 strikeouts and ten wins in 94 innings. She has made a team-high 30 appearances in 15 starts, limiting opponents to a .246 batting average.

Scouting the Hoosiers: Indiana brings a 31-10 recording into this week, including a 10-5 bid in Big Ten play. The Hoosiers are on a four-game win streak following a run-rule win over Butler on April 8 and a weekend sweep over Purdue. IU has won four of its five weekend series against conference opponents, with the only loss coming to No. 9-ranked UCLA in California, in addition to an early-season victory over then-No. 25 Ohio State at the FAU Paradise Classic. Indiana will face Notre Dame on Tuesday, April 14, before coming down to Louisville on Wednesday.
The duo of Ella Troutt and Aubree Hooks lead the Hoosier pitching staff with 13 starts apiece. Troutt owns a team-best 2.30 ERA through 79.0 innings pitched, including 44 strikeouts and just 16 walks. Hooks and Brooke Mannon each boast a 2.66 ERA through 47.1 innings of work. The pair has a combined 13-2 record and 63 strikeouts across 39 appearances.
Aly VanBrandt and Alex Cooper have proved effective for the IU offense with 45 and 60 hits, respectively. Cooper (14) ranks third and VanBrandt (13) sits at fifth in the Big Ten in doubles, and VanBrandt's .437 batting average sees her seventh in her conference. VanBrandt and Avery Parker lead the team with 11 home runs, and Josie Bird is a close second with 10 long balls on the year. Parker (9, 46), VanBrandt (9, 46) and Bird (11, 45) each rank among the best in the Big Ten in RBIs.
Shonda Stanton is in her ninth season in Bloomington and has a 275-169 record with the club. Through her 28-year career, Stanton has amassed an 880-628-2 record across three schools. Stanton and the Hoosiers went to their third-straight NCAA Tournament in 2025, winning against Saint Louis but falling to Oklahoma State in an elimination game.
